That is so funny! Glad I don't have that problem in Arizona. I guess scorpions are not better!
So dear Merinda, did the mouse "escape" in the house?? One night about 3 am while I was feeding Ellie in the old apartment, I saw a mouse run under the bookcase and then I heard that all too omnious *SNAP*.
