Then vs. Now

I'm going through our calendar and I realized we visited 10 countries in less than 12 months. Sitting here in our cozy house in America doing laundry while Graham naps, I can't believe how much we packed into that year!

September 2007: Gandhi's Birthday in
Dehradun

October: Dusshera Holiday in
Amritsar

November: Thanksgiving at the
Pushkar Camel Fair with Dawn, Pulsipher Kids & Zach

December:
Jodhpur for a co-worker's wedding with Rich, Christmas Trip to USA

January 2008:
Texas, Utah & Rome

February:
New Zealand to visit parents, met Rich on the way back in Bangkok

April:
Israel & Jordan (as part of Rich's business trip). Hong Kong on my own for Sonia & Bobby's temple sealing.

May: Packed up stuff and said goodbye to everyone in
Delhi

June: Trekking Trip to
Kashmir (Srinagar, Sonamarg, Nichnai)

July: Trip to
Scotland with Brandon; Visit family in Dallas, Utah, Rexburg; Rich travels to Romania on business

August:
Move into our house in Austin. Visit Rich's family in Dallas for Kim & Scott's Reception

September: Rich travels to
Houston to help cleanup Hurricane Ike. Graham & I visit Janielle in New Braunfels. Lots of people come visit us for Isaac's baptism.

October: Visit Katie & Dave in
Katy while Rich does more hurricane cleanup in Galveston. Visit Dallas for the BYU v. TCU game & a visit from Brandon.

November: Enjoyed a visit from Pulsipher cousins

Now we're just normal people driving around visiting relatives in Texas. And pretty happy at that. That world travel was nice, but it's nice to settle down a bit and to re-connect with the people who mean the most to us.

More fun travel to look forward to and plan for:

New Braunfels for Thanksgiving
Camping somewhere nearby over Thanksgiving Break
May, TX to see Grandma & Grandpa Key
Bentonville, Arkansas to visit Amy & her new baby

Holy Schmoley. I'm exhausted just READING about all your travels with little kids. You are truly a world traveler - not that I'm that shocked, it fits you so well.
Thank goodness you've come back to blogging, never ever leave us again!

I would really LOVE to hear about your trip to Kashmir if you're ever up to blogging about it.
